Hello Neighbors!

Well, here we are at the start of another tax season.  I just wanted to be sure you have all of the different income documents you need before you go to see your tax preparer. Now, I am not just talking just about your W2 either. There are quite a few documents that people tend to forget about. Just because they do not know that these documents are generated on their behalf without them realizing it. So, they do not look for them in the mail or email before they make agreements to see a tax preparer.

Let me see how many I can think of off the top of my head, and before I have to look any of them up.

Theres the W2, the1099int, this is the one from your bank or credit union showing how much interest you earned. The1099div, these covers any stock trading. The1099R, which is for retirement pay. The1099nes, which is for the self-employed and then the 1099G which is for gambling winnings.

Out of all these the 1099int is the one that takes the longest to get, or at least mine is always the last one I get.

Have a great day!
